| Introduction | "The Jovial Beggars" is a dance group down in Salem MO. It started September 22nd, 2002, with 9 people. We have since grown to unknown numbers, and we continue to have new people join us. A tipical dance has around 70 people in attendance. We have no website or blog as of yet, but feel free to email. We have dances once a month in Salem or Rolla. Usually on a Saturday, but sometimes on Friday. The cost is about $4. Often we have live music by the Hibernia Station Band from Jefferson City, and the calling is done by Jaired, Tracy, Kimberly, Ellie, Chava, and Mary Hall of Salem. |
