| Introduction | Quentin R. Skrabec jr I have spent half my career in engineering manufacturing and the other in engineering and science education. My education includes BS, MS, and Ph.D. degrees in engineering. As a practicing engineer I have appeared on both PBS and the History Channel. I have been used for expert opinion in the Wall Street Journal, USA TODAY, and Business Investor Daily. I have published twenty-five books in these fields. My principal publishers were McFarland, Pelican, Greenwood, Purdue University Press, and Algora. I have published over a hundred articles and books in science and engineering history. I published two business history encyclopedias for Greenwood (ABC-CLIO), The 100 Most Significant Events in American Business (Won National Library Association Best Business Reference in 2015 Ph.D. Manufacturing Management, University of Toledo, -B.S.
