| Introduction | In union with the Holy See of Rome are some 22 particular Churches, one of them is the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Byzantine Rite. “Rite” is how Liturgy is celebrated while particular "Church" deals with its Historical Heritage. "Mass" in the Ukrainian Catholic Church is called "Divine Liturgy" and is celebrated according to the Byzantine Rite of the Eastern Tradition. Our Church’s origins can be traced to the Great Church of Constantinople, who’s bishop’s in-turn, trace their Apostolic Succession to St. Andrew the Apostle “First Called & brother of Peter,” and St. John the Apostle, “Evangelist, and Theologian." All are welcome to attend! All Catholics in union with the Holy See of Rome are welcome to receive Communion. |
