Introduction	Ms. Shining is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School (Class of 1990) and a former patent attorney. She obtained a B.Sci. in Biochemistry at Michigan State University in 1987. Since 1998, she has worked exclusively on behalf of those diagnosed with asbestos diseases.
