| Introduction | I grew up and still live in Binghamton, a small city in upstate NY. Unfortunately, I did not discover my love of nature until my adult years. Better late than never! Today I enjoy hiking and kayaking and am an avid birdwatcher. I am a board member and the newsletter editor for my local naturalists’ club. Being a “late blooming” nature lover, I look forward to all the things I still have to learn about the natural world and am always eager to discover new things. Luckily, I live in an area situated at the confluence of two rivers with easy access to local waterways, nature preserves and state parks and forests. |
