| Introduction | This June I finished my bachelor degree in international business and politics in Copenhagen. For about a year I had had plans to spend some time in a country in Sub-Saharan Africa after finishing my studies, because I wanted to travel and because after travelling in South America and spending 1½ years in Canada, going to Africa was the place that gave me the most rumbles in my tummy. I have worked as a freelance journalist before, writing for university paper, cbsobserver.dk, and volunteer-based cafebabel.com. |
