IntroductionHave a confession to make. My name is grammatically wrong in any Indian vernacular language. It should be written and pronounced Sukumar Mahajan. Did B.Com. from Delhi University in 1973. Did Advanced Journalism from Regents Institute, London, in 1963. Both courses were done through correspondence. Diplome de Langue from L'Alliance Francaise de Delhi in 1986. Publications : Artices, short stories and newspaper paras published in various papers and journals. First Urdu novelette, Jasoos Vakil (Detective Advocate), personlly published in early 1950s. Frist Book : Debacle In Baltistan, Copyright, 1973. Second Book : Highest Battlefield of the World : Baltistan in Kashmir (Coyright pending), being serialized at http//skumarmahajan.tripod.com. Worked in a leading English daily from January, 1960, to December, 1997. In between there were assignments with TOPIC,London,in 1962; & AP & UPI during UNCTAD II in New Delhi in 1968. Started Homoeopathy in 1997. A journalilst by profession and a Homoeopath by hobby. First more than the latter, always.

When you are in a hurry to catch outgoing mail - given that there is no guarantee that your post will ever reach the destination in India - you just lick the stamps without bothering about the best or worst time.
