Introduction	The Green Dog Cookie Co. was started in 2009 in a response to some chronic itching, scratching, biting and chewing from both Maggie and Tyler. We did some research, some food testing, changed their dog food a couple of times, etc. and realized that both of my pups had some minor food allergies. After changing food, the itching and scratching did go down, but wasn’t completely eliminated. Come to find out, they were also being irritated by the commercial treats I was feeding them! I experimented with a few recipes, since I love to cook, and started baking my own cookies for the pups. They LOVED them! And, Green Dog Cookie Co. was borne.
