| Introduction | I started cooking about 28 years ago, when my Wife began working a new job that had her putting in later hours than I. Who the hell am I, I thought, to expect her to slave in the kitchen when She got home? Pretty damn noble, right? Right? After all, I am a child of the 60's, where Men like Ward Clever, and Mike Brady brought home the bacon, while June and Carol toiled away in the kitchen, (and I'm quite certain, the bedroom) to please their husbands. Of course, Ward didn't make enough money to hire Alice. Then again, they did only have two Kids.(but I digress).... My point is, I've done all the cooking since. Not that my Wife is a bad cook, although I don't think meatloaf is supposed to glow in the dark. Sorry, Dangerfield popped in my head. "At my house you pray AFTER you eat"...Loved that Guy! Actually, She makes the best spare ribs you'll ever eat. (but that's about it). When She cooks,the flies chipped in to fix the screen door. DAMMIT, Rodney, get out of my head! |
