About me

Introduction The Hands of Respect are an 8 foot tall, 5 ton granite sculpture of a male and female hand placed together to form the symbol of RESPECT. A 10 ten ton block of granite was quarried by Keystone Memorials in Elberton Georgia, USA and sawn into two 5 ton blocks ready to be carved by well known Athens GA sculptor Stan Mullins. The Hands of Respect were commissioned to be a tangible example and reminder of the symbol for respect.
