| Introduction | Hello, my name is Rashad Washington and I am an automotive technician and a certified emissions and safety inspector at STS tire & auto. I am currently majoring in automotive technology at NCC and I perform work on the side for friends and family. I've been working at STS for close to 3 years and I would like to teach new technicians how to properly perform a state inspection and emission test on a vehicle. Of course, before you can legally do a state inspection or emissions test, you must have a state issued SI/Emission license. So technically, the first step is to get certified. I wont be able to go through every separate inspection procedure but I will give you an simple guide to get you started. |
