Introduction	Two American thirty-somethings leave everything behind and risk it all to live, play, and work in New Zealand for a few years. This blog is dedicated to our beautiful cat, Amber, a 9-pound Maine Coon, who we could not take with us to New Zealand due to the high costs and red tape associated with pet immigration. Amber is residing temporarily at the Happy Cat Sanctuary on Long Island, NY, living the good life climbing trees with 100 other rescued kitties. When we come back, we will retrieve Amber.
