| Introduction | We are parents, concerned citizens, graduate students studying education, classroom educators, and school officials in Wisconsin who want to improve public education as well as defend against attacks on children, teachers, and the institution of public schools. We originally organized around defeating SB22, but understand that Governor Walker's attacks on public education are part of a much broader effort to undermine its institutions and the people working within them. These attacks are not just happening in Wisconsin; they are happening all across the country and evidence is already mounting against them in places like Milwaukee, New Orleans, New York, and Detroit.
