| Introduction | I have a 22 year old son that I adore and two Boston Terriers. I am generally happy with my life. I work for a law firm and really like my job. My son doesn't live with me anymore but we are very close. I see and talk to him often. I have a lot of friends and an awesome boyfriend. I'm at a point in my life where I can do pretty much what I want and I really enjoy that freedom. I really try to live what I call an "AUTHENTIC" life. If it doesn't work for me, I stop doing it. |
| Interests | I enjoy reading, music, movies and stitching. Music is a huge part of my life - especially new wave and British music. I enjoy British sitcoms - basically I love anything British. I also like watching pool - don't play pool - but I have a lot of friends that play in tournaments and I'm an avid watcher - especially 9 ball. I also am addicted to crosstitch - time gets away from me when I'm stitching! |
| Favorite movies | I love British movies, comedies, dramas, etc. I also enjoy classic movies. I watch a lot of movies on BBC America, AMC and Turner Classics. |
| Favorite music | I'm an old new waver but I enjoy all types of music. If it's good, it's good. I'll have to make a list of my favorites and update this later. I'm sure I'll blog about music often. |
| Favorite books | My reading tastes vary. I enjoy murder mysteries like the Kellermans and Elizabeth George. I also read general fiction: Jeffrey Archer, Rosamunde Pilcher, Elizabeth Goudge, Maeve Binchy, Jan Karon, etc. And science fiction is cool too. There really are too many authors to list. I don't read romance novels - especially the ones that have the Fabio look-a-likes on the front cover. |
