| Introduction | I have always taken an interest in foreign cultures either by socialising with people from abroad, watching subtitled films and listening to their music. I have wondered what life would be like to live overseas or to travel places outside the USA. I was ready for a change after spending my whole life in one city, working the same job for many years, and hanging out at the same places with friendships lasting over several decades. However, I resisted change feeling comforted by the reassurance of the familiarity, the close ties with my friends and family. The push and pull between remaining at home and leaving for afar was finally decided by extenuating circumstances. I threw caution to the wind and followed my heart to be with my husband, Paul. Off to Ireland with two large suitcases, our cats and the unknown. ~ This is what brought me here. I love being a mom, a wife, and a best friend. It is just that simple. ** Now living in the UK** |
| Interests | I enjoy hiking on quite difficult trails with beautiful secluded surrounding. A bonus would be a packed lunch and wine or beer included. LOL shhhh!, -comping, I love watching Indie films. Yes, I do read subtitles. LoL. I have an adventurous side to me. It only comes unleashed on ‘rare’ occasions. LOL. No, not while under the influence of alcohol or any other substance. I have gone bungee jumping, white water rafting, rip cording, repelling down a steep hill, sling shot, etc., recycling items |
