| Introduction | Hello everyone. My name is Byron, and I am from Southern Virginia. My professional background consists mostly of manufacturing. I have worked for mainly automotive suppliers but have also worked in construction and storage bag production. I have worked both in production and quality control, but most of my most recent experience has been in logistics. I have been in leadership for over 6 years, and I am constantly working towards bettering myself professionally. I have some experience with IT starting back when I was a young kid. I got my first computer at 10 years old and began to teach myself basis computer skills over 20 years ago. I have studied computer science and now I am pursuing Bachelor's of Science Degree with specialization in Information Technology. With previous experience and future learner, I am hoping to enter the IT field within the next 3 years and hopefully work within the field until I retire. I have recently been offered a promotion with my current employer which has caused some confusion with my personal goals. I love my current career and can see myself moving up with my current employer, but I do want to pursue my dreams and work within the IT field. |
