| Introduction | Toucando is a modern gaff rigged cutter, based on the Falmouth Quay Punt: a type of Cornish working boat that serviced tall ships. Toucando is based in Southampton and is currently well through a period of maintenance involving much paint and varnish. When she can she goes cruising on the Solent and Central English Channel. In 2013 she circumnavigated Great Britain, via the Caledonian Canal as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Old Gaffers Association.
