| Introduction | Once upon a time I was a real engineer. I majored in Civil Engineering Technology with an emphasis in Construction Management. My field work includes stints as an estimator, a surveyor, and a field engineer. But tearing up nature to build an oil refinery made me think. What would make the world a better place? Much pondering and a lot of reading led me to the field of education. I truly believe that education is my calling and I feel lucky to have finally figured it out. I've been teaching full time since 1999. Everything came full circle in 2007 when I landed my dream job teaching engineering. |
