Introduction	I am programmer who grew up a computer geek long before geeks were cool in what a was then a small but rapidly growing town in North Texas where the FFA was still one of the biggest organizations in high school. I have always been interested in amateur radio and finally got my license in 1996. I upgraded to general in 2011 and have become active on HF, usually 20m SSB.
