| Introduction | My name is Diane Shepard Johnson and my daughter Sarah and I have always loved old fashioned things. We had the joy of being a friend of Tasha Tudor's and we shared many interests with her. My daughter Sarah was the model for Tasha Tudor's illustrations in "The Real Pretend". Our interests are spinning, weaving, knitting, natural dyeing, bobbin lace making, dolls, sewing, quilting, old fashioned clothing, photography, drawing, corgis, goats, rabbits, birds, lovely landscapes, gardening (flowers, herbs, and vegetables), canning, fireplace and woodstove cookery, antiques, genealogy, old books, old fashioned living and old fashioned tasks. We find Tasha Tudor and Beatrix Potter so inspiring! The Corgyncombe Courant is our newspaper of some of the highlights of life at Corgyncombe Cottage. Courant is an old term for newspaper. |
