Introduction A dark shadowy figure who lurks in the gray and listens for the words that others want to hear.. Sounds ominous right? Not so much. I am an office drone who created this alter ego because I have a dream I could be Batman of the Assistive Technology world someday. So far I'm poor, I don't own a billion dollar company yet and my Utility Belt is just stuff tied to the cord of a broken folding cane. Oh how I dream..
Interests Videogames, Movies, Sci Fi and things your Mom warned you about when you were little.
Favorite Movies It varies on mood. "Citizen Kane" of course with "Brazil" being right up there. I have bought "Tron" on every format except the RCA Video Disc from the 1980's. "Robocop" has a big influence on me as I sit in meetings where I wish for ED209 to come in and take out the trash. A good comic book film like "Darkman", "The Shadow" or the "Rocketeer" is aces in my book as well. And to show I am not completly one dimentional.. I loved "The Aviator". DVDs with commentary tracks rule by the way.
Favorite Music Eek! I own everything from ELO to System of A Down. Muse and Radiohead are the closest bands I can find who walk between comercial and art rock. Tool/A Perfect Circle do it justice too. But my main pillars of Rock are in no order Anthrax, Judas Priest, Pantera and Megadeth. Motorhead and Oingo Boingo aren't far away from the MP3 Player either. I love Soundtracks too with Williams, Elfman and Berwell being my faves. My recent purchases are Lacuna Coil, Shinedown's new one, Tool's 10, 000 Days and the new KoRn Rare Live disc. That Rush "R30" may get bought too.
Favorite Books That's easy. Anything by Douglas Adams. I happen to like Peter David as well. He takes it well beyond Fan Fic and makes the characters real. Phillip K. Dick and classic Sci Fi, "Green Hills Of Earth" and "The Left Hand Of Darkness", rock too. Orewell and Dickens, okay most of the Industrial works of that day, run around in my mind constantly. And "The Great Gatsby" is a treasured story.
