Introduction	Attention! Do not read this! Hahahaha made you look. I'm currently living in the Sacramento, California area married and with two children. I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area (specifically Union City, CA). In the picture is myself and my son. Yes, I'm Filipino, but sad to say I don't speak or even understand Tagalog. With that in mind, "No History...No Self" is a common thought in my mind all the time. Therefore, I created the Filipino-American Pride Blog. As I grow older I'm not too sure what to pass down to my kids. Yes my heritage is Filipino, but I'm seriously a coconut sometimes...brown on the outside and white (Americanized) on the inside. I'm proud of my heritage so I hope by me sharing empowering information to the masses my children will be proud to be a Filipino and not just another forgotten Asian or even worse a dogeater. Not only is this blog for my family, but to you the reader. Sometimes it's a lonely world as a Filipino growing and living in the United States and you feel no one can relate to you, but hopefully when you read the topics in this blog you will be proud of who you are and know that you are Filipino-American.
