About me

Introduction	I am a Full Day Kindergarten Teacher in Ontario who has just climbed back 'into the trenches' after five years as a Curriculum Consultant for Trillium Lakelands District School Board (as Stephanie Vohra). For the past four of those years I had the privilege of being the lead learner and supporting the Alternate Day and Full Day Kindergarten educators. The knowledge that I have gained in that role, from the Ministry, many resources, and most importantly, seeing K educators try things out, is bouncing around inside my head. I know that the practical application will be quite a journey and since I love to learn, reflect and write... I thought it would be fun to document it. I will be using this space to share my journey and my 'current best thinking' knowing that will evolve as I, like the Velveteen Rabbit, become 'real' again. Kindergarten is the most joyful place in education and I am excited about being there with my ECE teaching partner! Thanks for visiting!
