| Introduction | Greetings! As the principal of George Defer Elementary School, it is my sincere pleasure and honor to welcome you to our community. Defer Elementary enjoys a rich history of academic excellence and I feel fortunate to be a part of a school culture focused on student learning and a commitment to high expectations. It is a privilege to work with the dedicated staff to continue these Defer traditions in creating an exciting and joyful place of learning. The greatest joy, however, is working with the Defer students. They bring enthusiasm, interest and a sense of curiosity to school each day. They are the 'heart' of the school and they make Defer School a vibrant and exciting place of learning. |
