Introduction	I am a 49 year old, happily married, mother of 4 lovely daughters. I am Australian,but I live with my American husband and our blended family in rural Nevada. We have a very smart cat and a very cute, but totally dumb dog. I may be the last of the fabulous dilettantes. I know quite a lot about many things, and can do many things quite well, but I don't make my living at any of them. I can play the bassoon, and I speak good French, bad Swedish and execrable German. I work part time as a substitute teacher, which I actually enjoy. I am also working on the degree that I ought to have finished during the last millenium. I have a condition called LIPEDEMA, but I love to ski. I have a tricky thyroid and I will probably hit menopause some time during 2010. Fabulous!! All these factors make it imperative that I win the war.
