| Introduction | I have previous experience working in a water engineering research group at Turku University of Applied Sciences. This consisted of research in nutrient removal processes to reduce bacterial growth in leachate and flowing water on a pilot scale. This also included manual and automated water quality monitoring at Baltic Sea and Turku archipelago. Most of which, was part of the Waterchain Project (http://waterchain.eu/). In addition, during my exchange period in Japan I oversaw the Ohori research project, purpose of which was to determine whether particular water treatment methods had any positive effect on the growth of water based bacteria. This was done in collaboration with a Japanese company whose test equipment and methods were used in all water treatment processes. |
