My blogs
| Introduction | When I started Taz-tangs Corner, life was chaotic at best but doable, I was married to a one in a million kinda guy, and we had a fuzzy roommate in our Tonkanese Perky. Both of "my guys" kept me sane while going thru Chemo and were my constant companions and support crew thru life. We had to say goodbye to Perky in 2021 and I said my final goodbye to Mike on Christmas Eve 2024. What's next, if anything, I'm not sure of but writing seems to help, so I'll try and stick around and keep things upbeat. |

| Interests | I started scrapbooking to do something with the extra stuff I found for the family tree, and have been hooked ever since. I found digital scrapping in 2009, and loved it up to the point that my harddrive got renewed, and I lost access to the "key" required for Photoshop Elements to function. Have you tried scrapbooking in Pages? NOT the same!! I started the initial blog to give back a little to the websites that have helped me keep my sanity while I was going thru Chemo by posting creations, but the sites I was a part of have long since wrapped up. Thru "Gathering across the Miles" I'm sharing my passion for genealogy while hoping to connect with people searching around the same family trees as I am. The Cancer, and than what blog started as a private way to get rid of my anxiety and lingering issues from Chemo, but morphed into telling the story of my journey, in hopes of easing minds that needed easing while following that same journey, even in a little way. Recently I started Taz's Bookcase to find a place for bookreviews. Some writers have it as requirement to review, and it's kind of cool to see them all in one space :-) |
