| Introduction | Harish Trivedi is a naturalized citizen of the United States of America and has been in the U.S. for over forty years. His academic background includes degrees and diplomas in Economics, Political Science, Law, Library Scinece, Management and Theatre/Film/Television broadcasting. He came to the United States on a scholarship to work on a doctorate in Theatre, Film and Communication. Prior to coming to the U.S., he had worked at the Times of India in Bombay. He has written plays in Gujarati and English and most of his plays have been performed in India as well as in the U.S.A. Echoes, Narmad: Maari Hakikat (Gujarati), Narmad: My Life (the English version),Mark Twain In India, Amrit Keshav Nayak (Gujarati) and An Evening with Mary Carpenter and Exit-stance are his most recent plays. His articles and book reiviews have been published in many dailies and other magazines in this country and in India. He lives in Dayton, Ohio with his wife Sharonjee and two cats. |
