| Introduction | Welcome to my blog - a place for family and friends to follow my travels and keep in touch. I am the husband of Shirley my wife for thirty nine years and counting. It is with her blessing that I am doing the solo motorcycle travel. She likes the bike but cannot ride for extended periods due to a back injury. I am the proud father to Adam, Jason and Gabrielle. They have partners Brodie, Katrina and Nathan. I share a modest house, located in Western Victoria, with my wife and cat - the children have left the nest. We have two grandchild Zander and Jacob. We hope there are more to come. I am a retired police officer - now motorcycle rider and traveler. No doubt I will have to find employment or perhaps I won't but for now travel is on the agenda. Traveled extensively around Australia with a caravan and had a couple of 4 X 4 trips with friends into the red centre. Big country with a lot to see. Love to do the Canning Stock route. Love to do another big solo bike ride across a continent or two. |
