Introduction	I teach this class called Senior Research Seminar, previously known as WISE, a class devoted to individual experiential learning. Each student chooses a topic to explore and in the process of this learning experience, writes in his/her journal every day about what he/she is learning. This daily commitment has been a source of angst for many students in the past but is integral to the process. So, I thought it would be a valuable learning experience for me to have to make a similar commitment with journaling so I can put myself in their shoes. Hence, this blog, my journal of my own research experience.

Favorite movies	Oh gosh, too many to list but here are a few: Breakfast at Tiffanys, The Godfather, The Great Escape, Crash, Kramer vs. Kramer, Midnight Cowboy, Mrs. Doubtfire.
Favorite music	Tracy Chapman, Aerosmith, Dave Matthews Band, Coldplay, Norah Jones, Tom Petty
Favorite books	The Road, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.
