| Introduction | I'm Janet Adkison, the Farm Director for KMZU "The Farm" in Carrollton, MO. The signal covers millions of acres in northwest, north and central MO. That's why our country music format also includes a large dose of ag information plus area sports, news, and weather. I grew up in south central Missouri and attended college at Missouri State University. After graduating with a degreee in Agriculture Communications, I moved Arkansas where I had my first job in radio a farm broadcaster. I've been in the industry for a few years and it's still a great fit for this farm girl. June of 2006 I joined KMZU. We keep busy covering fairs, meetings, conferences and agricultural issues. There are busy times and down times, but we have fun, or so I like to think. I started this blog to let everyone know what's going on behind the mic and away from the office.
