Introduction	I have loved paper my entire life. I love the smell, the texture, the sound it makes, both in the stacks of libraries and strewn across my room when I'm deep into a project. I’ll make cards for anyone who asks, but there is a special place in my heart for Operation Write Home. I send my decorated, blank 5.5” x 4.25” cards to OWH, which then distributes them to our troops so they can then have a pretty card to send to their loved ones. I am disabled and unable to get out and socialize very much, and tend to get very depressed about it. But when I am making cards for OWH, all of that goes out the window. I am devoted to this cause, and am so grateful to the organization for letting me help in my very small way.
