| Introduction | USU PR Agency is a field-based course that pairs senior-level Utah State University public relations students with real-life clients to solve PR issues. Each student 'Agency' is staffed with between 5-7 students. The student teams divide each campaign into job responsibilities in much the same way as a professional PR agency. The students are expected to research, plan, and implement 6,12 & 18 month PR strategies for the client. While the class only runs for a single semester, many of our clients will continue implementation by hiring one of the students, creating an internship, or focusing an existing staff member to execute the plan. Some of the client our teams have engaged are: Microsoft, SCO Group, ABC TV’s Extreme Makeover Home Edition, USU College of HASS, AirLaunch, State of Utah’s sponsorship of the 2006 Association of Space Explorers Planetary Congress, www.kidswhorip.com, The Fry Street Quartet, Ryan Adams Memorial Park, Pron Gear, the Cache Valley Radio Group, The Utah Wing of the Civil Air Patrol, and A.M Todd.
