| Introduction | I'm a single stay at home mother of identical twin girls for whom this blog is created. In 2003 I met a man I fell in love with and from this union I was blessed with two very precious and special souls, Ava and Caroline, who I call my Ladybugs...among other things. When they were born in April of 2006, I decided my place was to be at home with them to provide as stable a home environment as possible in our otherwise unconventional family unit. I put my successful 15-year career in institutional advancement on the back burner to dedicate myself to the care and nurturing of my premature babies born 6 weeks early. I have welcomed this new phase in my life and feel proud of the two tiny babies who have grown and developed into happy, healthy, intelligent, witty and oh-so-loving little people. My life right now is my kids. Maybe one day I'll find my way back to me...but until then, life is good and certainly never dull! |
