| Introduction | Here is a little about me. I am 30-years old, married to my beautiful wife Vanessa, and have a wondeful 2-year old little girl named Elle. We also have another baby girl on the way scheduled to arrive August 5th. As far as my triathlon background, I got into the sport about 2-years ago and have been competing mostly locally around the DFW area in short sprint distances as well as a few Olympic distances. I completed my first Half Ironman 70.3 in Galveston back on April 10th thinking that was going to be the longest race I will ever complete. Who knew that a week later I would get the news that I was accepted to compete in the 2011 Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. I iwll spend the next five months preparing both mentally and physically for the race. |
