Introduction	I was born and raised in Oakland, California. I'm currently living on the frequently frozen plains of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, working on my doctorate in philosophy. I've written on a wide range of subjects (in academic and mainstream publications) from ethics and philosophical topics to popular culture. Prior to Calgary, I was based in New York City, where I completed two MA degrees at New York University (Bioethics, '16; Science and Technology Studies, '14) and did my undergraduate work at California State University, Fresno (Philosophy Honors, '12).
