| Introduction | We were very blessed 8 years ago to have our first born daughter. She was born at only 28 weeks gestation with the disability Spina Bifida. She has endured and overcome many health struggles. We all have learned and grown a great deal from her strength. When we decided it was time to grow our family, God had a few other blocks in our path. After miscarrying 3 pregnancies, we were physically, emotionally, and spiritually worn. As our hearts healed from our losses our persistent want for another child did not diminish. We decided that adopting just "felt right". We are following our hearts and trying to listen to where God is leading us. We just need some financial help to get us there. This is how this idea and this blog came about. My husband has a passion for making woodcrafts. We wanted a unique idea with a personal touch. It is our hope that when you purchase a pen it can be something you can use daily. When you do, you can be reminded of how you helped bring together a child''s need for a loving home, with parents who want to experience the joy of raising another child, and giving our biological child the opportunity to experience having a sister to grow up with. ♥ |
