Introduction	Duke (Nicci) Gabriel has more than 6 years of experience as a web/print designer working in New York and San Francisco. Duke has worked for clients such as M&Co, ID Magazine, and Art Center College of Design. She is currently writing and illustrating a car care manual for young women and dreaming about starting her own rock band (even though she plays nothing and can't sing). This scientist, turned designer was educated at The School of Visual Arts where she received her MFA in design and studied under design legends such as Stefan Sagmeister, Milton Glaser, Maira Kalman, Paula Scher and Steven Heller. Duke is a freelance designer and illustrator living in New York City where she spends her free time experimenting on bellybutton lint, defending the world against hostile alien take-overs and knitting sweaters for her cats.
