| Introduction | I write the Chloe Ellefson Historic Sites adult mystery series, published by Midnight Ink. The latest title is A MEMORY OF MUSKETS. I also wrote A SETTLER'S YEAR: PIONEER LIFE THROUGH THE SEASONS, which was published by the Wisconsin Historical Society Press. I've also written over twenty novels for children and young adults, many of them for American Girl. Another interest is the American Civil War, and I've published one nonfiction book and five historical novels about that conflict. I'm passionate about history, and that often shows up in my work! |
