| Introduction | Sons of Liberty (S.O.L.) is Jamaican based music group originally started by Yannick Reid in 2005. It consisted of people who appreciated and decided to spread good music, real music. At that time, S.O.L. was a just group talked about by its members and was eventually forgotten. Its revival came in 2006 when Yannick brought up the name to a friend of his named Julian "King Biggs" Morrison. The group was then revived as music group primarily affiliated with the genre of Hip-Hop/ Rap. S.O.L. has come far from those days to evolve from more than a rap group into a Group/Label incorporating different styles of music and purposes. The group seeks to create real music for the public and to help to restore the good name of music. |
