Introduction	I am one of millions of baby boomers now entering the curious decades we call middle age. My goal is to share this journey from my personal point of view and write about everything from soup to nuts, or more aptly, from gout to retirement planning. I am retired after 40+ years in a Medical Lab career, mother of two grown children and grandmother to three. My cats are a great comfort to me. I have always enjoyed writing and will make full use out of this opportunity to share my experiences and insights "as it happens". I tend to see the humor in most of life's situations, so be ready to smile, chuckle, chortle or laugh out loud.
Interests	Photography, Travel, Reading, Classic Movies, Ancestry.ca, Cats, Investing and Home Decorating, not necessarily in that order!
Favorite movies	too many to list. I love all movies, especially drama and those with a scientific edge.
Favorite music	again, a little bit of everything and not one genre in particular.
