| Interests | I'm a third year instructor at SIUC, and started out as a lecturer teaching ENGL 101, 102, and grammar 300-1 and 300-2 after student-teaching at Carbondale Community High School in 2006 (English and German). I have a M.A. in Translation (German, English, French, technology), a M.A. in Teaching (German, French, English) for high school from SIU, and a PhD in English from the University of Mainz, Germany. I'm presently enrolled in the Ph.D. program in Curriculum & Instruction. My hobbies are playing the piano, traveling through Europe and the US, taking photos, hiking in the Scottish highlands, and breeding leopard geckos. |
