| Introduction | I could do 1200 characters in my sleep. LOL My name is Susan, I'm 52 years old and I have been a artisnal jewelry designer for 5 years. I began making jewelry after Hurricane Rita and I have my best friend to thank for getting me into beading. All my life I've been a "crafty" person. I always made my kids Halloween costumes, I painted, worked with ceramics, I crocheted (a little), copper enameling, and metal smithing (a little)and on and on . . . I have 4 chadults (that's my term for children who think they are adults but don't always act it! :o) - early to mid 20s), and 1 beautiful grand child, Johnny, and he is a joy and a walking and talking cuteness. I've been disabled for 11 years with a number of maladies, the worst being post-herpetic neuralgia (shingles that internalized irreparably damaging two nerves on the left side of my body, at the bra line) and then Fibromyalgia. Beading and creating jewelry is my therapy, well that a few meds.:o) So, this is me! |
