| Introduction | Let's be honest. I'm one complicated twenty-something. I'm an educator and obsessive academic. I'm a 5-Star kind of girl. I've got this unyielding desire to make a tangible difference in the world. In 2008, I put thought into deed, realized a dream, and journeyed to China. I encountered an enormous amount of red tape while volunteering with orphans, but it laid the groundwork for even bigger things to come. I was blessed again in 2010 when I assisted in a preschool at an amazing foster home outside Beijing. In between teaching and my annual fundraisers, I'm exploring new parts of Asia with my man. Until my next trip, this blog will serve as a way to share updates on the tiny miracles I met there. |
