| Introduction | I'm a Jersey girl living in rural coastal California. It’s been quite a cultural shock, to say the least. I miss the food terribly. And although no one here has heard of Taylor Ham or even Stromboli, they do have much better burgers and Mexican food. I seek to embrace the cultural cuisine of whatever area I'm in, and eat what the locals live on. Although I am no writer, critic or chef, I am an expert at eating and will search high and low for the best places to do that. I have a great foodie husband, a boring dog, 3 funny kids and 5 annoying chickens. I direct and teach theater for a living and dream of living in Africa with a tribe that communicates with clicks.
