| Introduction | A non-trad college student by day, an aspiring novelist by night, Your Intrepid Blogger is a forty-something, pudgy, mostly bald Orthodox Reader in an OCA parish in western Washington State who aspires one day to become a real database programmer again. Blessed (or cursed) with a knack of seeing things sideways, he finds humor in the most hilarious of situations, and somehow (usually) manages to condense what he sees into words without completely squeezing out the funny. Founder and editor of the quondam Onion Dome online Orthodox humor site, creator of inimitable characters Father Vasiliy Vasileivich and Professor Yeraslav Penguin and coiner of the phrase, “Is outrage!”, he is now, after taking a year off for good behavior, trying his hand once more at publishing (hopefully) humorous “news” on Orthodox themes, as well as other satire and the occasional short story.
