| Introduction | I was born in NY. My art career started as a fashion illustrator, but now focus on fine art. I enjoy many different mediums, much of my work is done in Prisma Colored Pencils. As guest author for artist, Lori McNee, I wrote an article describing my technique. http://www.finearttips.com/2010/02/using-colored-pencil-to-create-fine-art/ I feel that working with colored pencil allows precision, control of detail, and depth. I find inspiration in everyday life and the things that interest me. I have studied at The Traphagen School of Fashion Design and Illustration, The Northern Westchester Center for the Arts, The Katonah Art Center and have taken classes with Decorative Artist, Susan Harris, Prominent Artist and Illustrator, Alan Reingold and Graphic Artist, John Pardo. I am now residing in Westchester, New York's Hudson River Valley with my husband Ray. |
