| Introduction | English by birth I was whisked away to the depths of Illinois by a tall, dark, handsome American some 13 years ago. Shantra is the name he gave me, it means 'guiding light' in Cherokee. Me and hubby have a passion for animal welfare and share our modest single family with 4 dogs, 2 Bengal cats, an F1 Bengal and a constantly flowing assortment of furry foster children. |
