Introduction	Welcome to my blog everyone! Im a freshman at JMU, a kinesiology major with a pre-med concentration. Obviously I have an interest in medicine, but recently I have also taken up an interest in religion, and how religious diversity can cause conflicts. I have always had an interest in religious studies not because I am a religious person myself, but because it is a topic that has an abundance of questions and very few answers. Since there are so few answers it gives individuals extreme freedom to come up with their own ideas and opinions. Here on my blog I will be discussing how politics can have an effect on religion, and vice versa. Right now this is a hot topic in the Middle East as well as Northern and Central Africa. Starting this blog I dont know much about the topic, but I am definitely eager to learn more and give my insight and opinion.
