He holds a BA in Economics and Business as well as a minor in History. In 1996, He graduated from the University of Virginia Law School with a JD and sat for the Virginia bar, where he is currently licensed. After seven years as a JAG officer in the US Army, he served another three years at VMI as a professor of law and accounting in the Economics and Business Department. He currently teaches part time at Southern Virginia University. In 2005, he earned an MS in Tax Accounting from the University of Virginia, and in 2007, he passed the CPA exam. Mr. Hardenbergh practices in criminal defense, especially traffic cases. He has experience as a federal prosecutor and criminal defense counsel. He is a strong advocate of gun owner's rights and stridently opposes the imposition of any "mandatory minimum" term of confinement for alcohol and other substance offenses. |
